V600 bluetooth setup

If anyone else knows and knows what I should say to the Cingular people, I would appreciate a comment. This has faster speeds, up to kbps, but only for devices that support it. Not the V The first thing you need to do is delete the pairing with the phone if one already exists. So delete away. On the Mac, bring up your System Preferences and go into the Bluetooth pane. That menu will make things easier.

You can close up System Preferences. Same thing. Go through this whole assistant doing whatever it asks. Before you move off the first page though, you need to make your cellphone discoverable.

Now back on the computer, run through the rest of the setup assistant. One of the last things the assistant will ask you is if you want to set up the phone for wireless internet. I know. Cry your heart out. Trust me. The easiest way to get your addresses into the phone is like this:. You can only do one address at a time. You can select several at once if you want but only the first one will be imported into the phone. Another things you can do is send files back and forth to the phone.

Select your phone from a list. Want to guess what goes in each? You can put MP3s in the audio folder and use them as ringtones, but let me make a few suggestions.

You only have 5MB total memory on the phone. Keep the MP3s small. Use an audio editor to trim your song or sound to 15 to 20 seconds. I would strongly suggest making them mono MP3s at 64kbps or less. Set the Stereo Bit Rate to kbps if you want a 64kbps mono file. Make sure VBR is unchecked. And under Channels select Mono.

OnSync will sync addresses between Address Book and your phone. Maybe something there catches your fancy. You should be good to go now. Turn off your Airport if you have one. Put the computer to sleep. Wake the computer back up. You need to run Internet Connect to dial-in with a modem Bluetooth or otherwise. Click on the Bluetooth tab. In a moment you should be online wirelessly. So there you go. Hopefully some people find this helpful. Thank you! Rated 5 out of 5 by office44 from V I bought this unit to scan photos to save family memories and to pass on to children.

The photos I had to start with were 50 years old. I was pleasantly supprised at the quality of scan. Photos were discolored from age, however the scanner with accompaning edit software automatically restored the images to original or better in many cases.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Meangreen from Online support and Phone support is terrible. Can't contact Purchased, followed install instructions on two computers does nothing but flashing error light, can't get online or phone support.

Phone support until pm. Rated 5 out of 5 by Tom Man from Easy to use. Satisfied with all the features. I bought this last week and startup and registration was easy.

Tried a few photos and ALL is going well, Looking forward to scanning slides and film soon. Need Support? Get the latest drivers, FAQs, manuals and more for your Epson product. Dean's setup guide is specifically for the Tungsten E2. The original Tungsten E does not have a Bluetooth radio in it. Alan G. AlanG , Apr 21, Messages: Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: I assume you are recommending the Belkin F8T Is there a V1 and v2 of that device? What is the difference? The Belkin F8T is a good Bluetooth adapter and comes with complete drivers.

The V1 was the original version and had a little antennae on it this is no longer available. V2 is the one that is available in stores or online now. You might find a V1 version on Ebay or something like that. DeanDC10 , Apr 24,
